Hong Kong 2011

So I know this is a month late, but yeah, I went to HK last February for a MUCH NEEDED vacation. :)

Rona, Tope, Wes and Marianne, yes, 5th wheel much! :D

Hong Kong looked pretty much the same the way I remembered it. Bustling streets which you would dare not cross during a red light signal. Unlike here.

We took a trip to Ngong Ping and I CONQUERED my fear of heights. For the time being, anyway. :D

That was PRETTY DAMN high. But I got the hang of it. Eventually. :D See, we even had glass floors!

AWESOME ENGLISH SHEEPDOG AT VICTORIA PEAK!!! I want one! It was just walking with its human family, trotting around without a leash. And it was sooo big. :3

Mongkok was the place where I discovered my intense hidden desires for milk tea. I think I had 1 glass a day when we were there. Must. Franchise!

And it only costs HKD12, for a tall glass!!! (That’s around P60-P70.) If I had that here in the Philippines I’d drink it EVERY.FREAKING.DAY.

And I finally got to watch “A Symphony of Lights” which was one of the top attractions in HK. Never got to see it in my past 2 trips.

And the rest is just shopping, walking, shopping, and even more walking!

I think I secretly have amazing bargaining skills. Never mind the tinderas who swore loudly after I made my purchase (or so I assumed). At least I got away with the price I wanted. HOHOHO.

Seriously though, my feet, legs, butt and back hurt even after this trip. That was probably the most intense “workout” I will ever have this year. Yes, sometimes we go on vacations to tire ourselves. :))
